March 19, 1931 gambling was legalized in the State of Nevada. One
month later, the City issued six gambling licenses.

This is New York, New York. When you enlarge this picture, notice
all the tee shirts surrounding the water. You can tell that is was all spontaneous. |

The tee shirts were not only from all over the US, but the world. We
saw shirts from Britain, New Zealand, Australia...... |

We saw Blue Man Group. It was the most creative show I have ever
seen. Joe and I highly recommend it. |

This was taken up the Eiffel Tower, in the Paris hotel. It is an
exact replica, on a 50% scale. |

During
the 1960s, a phenomenon lead by Howard Hughes, occurred in Las
Vegas. Corporations were building and/or buying hotel/casino
properties. Gambling had become "gaming" and was starting
the transition into legitimate business.

This is the "water dance" that plays at the Bellagio hotel
every 15 minutes. They have an array of different songs that are done. |

Moving along, back to Phoenix, we go past Lake Meade again.
- The latest
population prediction in the Las Vegas Valley is 2 million people by
2005.
